Maker Tuesdays - STE(A)M Artists

  • plymouth artist collective 180 Adams St Plymouth, MI, 48170 United States (map)

Fall is just around the corner and we can’t wait for our upcoming Maker Tuesday series including a new membership program with updated pricing!

During our makers classes kids will have the opportunity to explore how creativity is interwoven with the world around them and can be the spark leading to innovations. Through collaboration and fun hands-on activities they’ll gain a deeper understanding of visual designs and STEM concepts.

This fall we will explore STEM principles through the eyes of an artist. Each month will focus on a different element - Shape, Color and Light, Pattern, and Movement.

** Children are welcome to bring an after school snack with them to enjoy at the beginning of class. We will also be providing a simple snack of foods such as apple slices, crackers or carrots. If your child has food allergies or restrictions please make sure to list them in the registration form.

Invitation to Create - Open Studio

During the Invitation Create time our makerspace becomes an open studio for children to explore different art materials and methods in open-ended ways. Allowing for time to play and create freely encourages children to broaden their creative thinking and investigative skills. To help with sparking their imagination we include creative challenges that help prompt the design process.
